That is the goal of Tampa Bay Salvage. We create dozens of unique furniture items from salvaged products taken from around the world. You will not find anything like it with any other business featuring custom furniture in Tampa or anywhere else.

Exotic Reclaimed Wood

Walk into a deserted temple in Asia. There are pieces of wood there that have been abandoned for decades. If there is no issue with the wood being purchased and reused, we take it and turn it into tables, chairs, etc..

What was once a wall in an abandoned temple is now your coffee table or your favorite deck chair. It is reclaimed wood at its most exotic and most unusual.

Forgotten Antiquities

Do you know how many warehouses and storage facilities around the globe have forgotten antiquities? Some owners stash things and never return, or forget that they ever had certain items.

Prized possessions are left unclaimed when there are either no heirs to speak of, or heirs have no idea that these stashed items even exist. Now imagine that happening from London to Tibet. You got it; thousands of items without an owner and all for a price to clear things out and take them away.

We don’t stop at what we can use to make a piece of furniture either. We bring back dozens of antique carvings, window shutters, doors, etc., and all of these you can use to either decorate or create another piece of furniture too.

Maybe you want a three-dimensional carving of Shiva from India, or a Shinto shrine cut down to create a garden settee. Whatever you can dream up, whatever you really want, our scouts are always looking to help clients and customers find that exact piece for either their homes or their businesses.

Rustic to Beautiful

We’ve got pieces that scream “rustic cabin!” and we’ve got pieces that will make you weep for their sheer beauty. We can restore them, or we can break them down to create something else.

For example, a beautiful stained glass window taken from an old English church can be installed in your home as-is, or you can find a way to cut the window into two pieces to use in a very different manner.

The beauty of the colored glass is best displayed with light shining through it, but you can also use it to decorate a very bare and very high wall.

A shorn log bed has a similar beauty, but with very different purposes. It is rustic but also romantic in a log cabin sort of way. The functionality is another component that makes something like this something to be appreciated more and more each passing day.
